Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Toledo, OH)

Bright Yarrow Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
