Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Toledo, OH)

Cedar Oak Health Group is a healthcare provider in Toledo with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
