Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Sparrow Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
