Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (St. Louis, MO)

Bright Hollow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around St. Louis. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
