Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
