Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (San Jose, CA)

Redstone Ivory Health Group provides primary and specialty care in San Jose, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 424 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
