Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Linden Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills.
