Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (San Jose, CA)

Stonegate Oak Care Services provides in-home and community support in San Jose, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 119 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
