Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Mill Care Services Partners and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
