Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Salt Lake City, UT)

Harborlight West Care Services provides in-home and community support in Salt Lake City, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
