Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Salt Lake City, UT)

Ironwood West Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Salt Lake City, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
