Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Linden Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 346 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
