Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Rochester, NY)

Foxglove Clear Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
