Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Lakeside Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Richmond. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
