Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Reno, NV)

Westbrook Lakeside Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Reno with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
