Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Highbridge Basin Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
