Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Fernwood Hollow Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Boise, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 529 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
