Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Bluepeak Quarry Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Birmingham, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
