Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Lumen West Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
