Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Ironwood Orchard Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
