Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Bluepeak Analytics is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 7 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
