Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Bluepeak Wren Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
