Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Summit Ivory Health runs clinics and patient services around Hartford, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
