Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Keystone Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 858 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
