Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Westbrook Clear Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around El Paso, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
