Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Cedar Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
