Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Foxglove Sparrow Care Services supports families and individuals in San Jose with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
