Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Harborlight Hollow Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Memphis, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
