Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Northwind Glen Health Partners runs clinics and patient services around Richmond. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 293 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
