Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Northwind Birch Care Services Partners provides in-home and community support in El Paso, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
