Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Stonegate Union Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
