Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Fernwood Sparrow Health provides primary and specialty care in Omaha, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
