Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Bluepeak Wren Care Services provides in-home and community support in Richmond, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 493 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
