Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Cedar Clear Health runs clinics and patient services around Grand Rapids, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
