Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Rivermark Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Cincinnati, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
