Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Basin Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
