Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Bright Cross Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Rochester, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
