Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (remote)

Lumen Clear Care Services provides in-home and community support in Honolulu. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 536 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
