Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Providence, RI)

Northwind Birch Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Providence. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
