Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Juniper Care Services provides in-home and community support in Portland, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 455 people based in Portland. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
