Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bluepeak Quill Health Group is a healthcare provider in Pittsburgh with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
