Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Juniper Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
