Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Juniper Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
