Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Phoenix, AZ)

Westbrook Wren Care Services supports families and individuals in Phoenix with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
