Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Phoenix, AZ)

Lumen Meridian Health provides primary and specialty care in Phoenix. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
