Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Meridian Health Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
