Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Meridian Health Partners runs clinics and patient services around Philadelphia, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
