Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ashton Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills.
