Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Omaha, NE)

Summit Fern Care Services supports families and individuals in Omaha with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
