Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Fern Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
